Talent Lead

Permanent employee, Full-time · London

Your mission
As the Talent Lead you will be responsible for developing and implementing the full recruitment strategy for CALM. You will establish strong partnerships with our hiring managers, coaching and developing their capability to ensure a smooth recruitment process from job brief and advert through to interviewing, and hiring, ensuring we are working towards our equity, diversity and inclusion commitments. You will work closely with the Head of People and Culture to ensure all new starters have the ultimate CALM experience.
Your profile
What you'll be doing
  • Developing a comprehensive company-wide recruitment strategy that supports our commitments to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion
  • Working with the hiring managers to advertise vacancies both internally and externally using our own website, appropriate job boards and social media
  • Identifying and building relationships with new candidate sources to promote diversity
  • Conducting telephone screenings and interviews for all vacancies
  • Coaching and supporting hiring managers to develop their recruitment skills and knowledge
  • Providing first line advice to managers on employment law issues relevant to resourcing and recruitment
  • Working with HOD's and line managers to review and write new job descriptions and understanding their hiring needs
  • Work with the Head of P&C to ensure salary offers are kept in line with budgets
  • Providing key recruitment metrics on a monthly and annual basis 
  • Developing and enhancing our employee branding
  • Ensuring robust onboarding processes that enhance the recruitment process
Key skills needed
  • Previous experience within a fast paced multi disciplinary organisation
  • Experience developing and implementing a recruitment strategy
  • Knowledgeable and skilful  in sourcing candidates using various techniques, including job boards, CV mining, networking and making direct approaches
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in implementing equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives
  • High attention to detail and positively manage conflicting priorities
  • Results focused and able to deliver results on time and in tight timescales
  • Discretion and professionalism
  • Good working knowledge of employment law
  • Recruitment related qualifications or experience preferable
