Project Manager

Your mission
We’re looking for an experienced project manager who will be responsible for managing internal and external projects and campaigns across CALM. You will report directly to the Senior Project Manager.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide project management from initial research, scoping, planning and scheduling through to co-ordinating, design and delivery
  • Facilitate the day-to-day running of projects and holding others accountable for their actions
  • Translate project objectives into manageable tasks
  • Use a mix of project management methodologies and frameworks to tailor to each project 
  • Build great relationships with key stakeholders and set the right expectations
  • Manage both external relationships e.g. agencies, consultants, brand partners etc and internal stakeholders
  • Consolidate and distil complex ideas into simple, engaging, and effective updates to stakeholders
  • Communicate key delivery milestones, decisions, and risks effectively to stakeholders
  • Act as internal conduit between teams
  • Facilitate ceremonies eg stand ups, retros, sprint planning and review and ad-hoc workshops 
  • Support team and organisation on partnerships, talent outreach, event management, research, campaigns and more
  • Act as coach to guide teams through the whole lifecycle of project and encourage best practice
Your profile
  • Someone who likes to get shit done 
  • Whilst you love process you don’t get bogged down in bureaucracy, and you embrace change
  • You know what it’s like to work in a busy and fast paced environment 
  • You’ll be great at understanding briefs, asking the right questions and relaying this understanding to help shape great work
  • Outstanding communication skills - confident with managing multiple internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and senior management
  • A hands on ‘do-er’ who will roll their sleeves up to keep things moving along smoothly
  • A problem solver with the foresight to address potential problems before they evolve 
  • A positive, upbeat team player able to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
  • You have an exceptional eye for detail
  • You have a great understanding of various project management methodologies and frameworks eg Waterfall, Agile, PRINCE2, Scrum, Kanban etc
  • You know how to identify dependencies, risks and issues and manage them proactively

YOU COULD BE WORKING ON

  • Brand partnership projects. Working with amazing  brands to create exciting campaigns together. Our current partners include Spotify, ITV2, Netflix and many more. You’ll be building great relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, setting the right expectations and ensuring projects are delivered on time 
  • Internal projects. Working across the organisation to ensure CALM runs as smoothly as possible
  • Data projects. Ensuring CALM’s decision making and campaigns are data fed

On average, 18 people take their own life each day. Our free, confidential, and anonymous helpline and webchat service operates every day of the year, 5pm to midnight, for anyone in the UK who is feeling down or depressed. Through our campaigns and engagement activities, CALM aims to change culture so that people feel able to seek help before they reach a point of crisis, and family and friends feel better able to support each other.
