Your mission

Support users in making relevant data and best practices accessible to them, as a part of a creative and collaborative team of Salesforce professionals. Help maintain an excellent CRM of CALM supporters and donations.

  • Championing our team goal of maintaining a secure, clean, accurate and up-to-date database by data cleansing, encouraging best practice and understanding around the Salesforce org, to allow for data-driven decisions in the broader team. 

  • Retrieving and preparing data for upload through Data Loader, using Excel tools and functions to manipulate data (especially Vlookup, but also conditional highlighting, filters, formatting etc.). Contributing to and developing written guidelines for the above.

  • Supporting ~60 internal users with day-to-day bespoke tasks including reporting, creating and editing list views, maintaining page layouts and sharing best practices, all managed through cases and assigned to you by team needs. 

  • Actively participating in project teams you’re assigned to, including owning tasks, critical thinking and inputting into project conversations, and liaising with stakeholders to suggest solutions. 

  • Run training sessions for staff, from Salesforce basics to more advanced and specific functionality. Frequently improve and monitor training materials to increase efficiency, and suggest improvements.

  • Using Form Assembly to create and manage forms, ensuring accurate data collection and entry into Salesforce and independently handling error messages coming in as a part of a rota (after training).

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Experience Required (Essential)

  • Working on a Salesforce database as a System Administrator for two years

  • An expert Excel/Google Spreadsheet user with the confidence and ability to manipulate large data tables while keeping precision

  • Fluent in using the Data Loader to insert, update and delete data


Experience Required (Desirable)

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM 201)

  • Educated to degree level, or equivalent professional experience 


Skills and Knowledge (Essential)

  • Familiar with Salesforce communities 

  • Ability to investigate online independently and come up with technical solutions

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills 


Skills and Knowledge (Desirable)

  • Completed Trailhead badges

  • Experience with Salesforce formula fields and Flows

  • Good level of IT literacy, including Word, Excel, and Google Docs

  • Familiar with Agile methodologies

  • Experience with Salesforce integrations, e.g. Findock, Move Data, Form Assembly

Reports to: Senior Salesforce Administrator

Contract: Permanent

Based: London Waterloo twice a week (Wednesdays and Thursdays) / Remote Working (Mon, Tues & Fri), 9.30am - 5.30pm.

Salary: £30,000 - £34,000 per annum
